Founded in Hyderabad in 1994 by social worker M. S. Kameswari Dave and senior journalist T. L. Babu, Karuna Seva Sadan exists for one purpose: to serve the poor and needy with care and dignity.

Recognition

Karuna Seva Sadan listed on NITI Aayog's NGO Darpan

KSS is now registered on the NGO Darpan portal (Unique ID AP/2023/0348502), the Government of India's directory of verified voluntary organisations.

Tax benefit

12A registration and 80G approval granted

The Income Tax Department has granted KSS registration under Section 12A and approval under Section 80G, valid from AY 2024-25 to AY 2026-27. Donations to KSS are now eligible for deduction under Section 80G.

CSR

Registered with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs for CSR

KSS is registered to undertake Corporate Social Responsibility activities (Registration No. CSR00055219). Companies can now partner with us directly on CSR projects.
